Welcome to Gauck Family Livestock!

Our breeding program focuses on producing superior wethers for the show industry and show quality females. Our breeding and selection pressure is on producing individuals that are good patterned while having high carcass merit.  We have been raising high quality show animals for over 15 years. We added Boer goats to our production in 2007 with the purchase of some percentage does and Fullblood bucks from Teel Show Goats in Oklahoma. Since 2007 we have continued to add superior breeding bucks and selective does to improve our genetic base.

After having a super set of wether and doe kids born this fall and after long deliberation,
we have decided to retain his daughters and make Got Game available for sale.

Got Game is the result of a designed mating to produce a sire with a
unique genetic make-up to out-cross well on most bloodlines.

He was brought to our herd to accomplish certain things in our breeding program.
1) Give goats an extended front-end with a long neck and give that "show ring look"
2) Tie the shoulders together in a tight package, while cleaning up the brisket and breast plate.
3) Correct the rib shape by giving POWER and a tubular rib
4) Bring POWER in a LARGE Frame to keep a later maturity pattern so his kids stay LEAN
5) Consistently work across a wide variety of bloodlines, percentage and Fullblood
6) Give us a set of daughters to retain in the herd.

He Has Done It All, Consistently. . . see for yourself
